Questions and Answers

  • Do you offer digital files?

Yes.  High resolution and low resolution files are included in every session, as well as the option to add on any additional files that you would like.

  • What is the difference between high resolution and low resolution?

High resolution (or High Res) files are the best quality for printing images.  Low res files are meant to be used for Facebook, Myspace and other social networks.  They are a compressed image that will take less bandwidth on your Internet and gives you a much faster uploading time.

  • How long is a session?

Every session is a personal and unique experience and can range from 1 to 2 hours in length. Newborn sessions can run longer so that there is plenty of time for nursing, changing and plenty of cuddles.

  • How many pictures will I get?

An average of 25-30 of your best images will be provided, all with standard editing. Some images will include enhanced editing reflective of my style.  Please take a look through my portfolio to see if my work will match what you are looking for.

  • How soon should I book a session?

Earlier is always better.  I only shoot certain days of the month to leave enough time to edit images, answer your emails, run campaigns and promotions, etc.  I also shoot for charities, school photos and weddings throughout the year. The sooner you schedule the better chance of there will be more days and times to choose from.  I take bookings on average 4-8 weeks in advance but always call first.  There just may be openings. Newborn photos should be scheduled within the first 10 days of life.

  • Do you sell Copyright with your photos?

No, but the Image CD’s do come with a print license so that you can print any number of images.  Please see Copyright for more information.
